Terms of Service

Plain-language rules for using Leisure Legacy: who can create a page, who owns the words, and what isn't allowed.

The service

Leisure Legacy provides a physical guided journal and a digital Legacy Page, a personal page where you preserve your story and invite contributions from people who know you.

Your account and your page

A Legacy Page represents you, its owner, and you must be at least 18 to create one. You are responsible for the content you publish and for the contributions you choose to approve.

Contributors must be 13 or older; a parent or legal guardian must submit on behalf of anyone younger.

Content and ownership

You keep ownership of everything you write. Contributors keep ownership of their words and grant Leisure Legacy permission to store and display approved contributions on the page they were written for.

Page owners may remove contributions at any time. Contributors may request removal of their own words.

What's not allowed

Impersonating another person, creating a page for someone other than yourself, and posting abusive, unlawful, or harmful content are prohibited. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we respond to lawful requests.

Availability

We work hard to keep the service running, but it is provided as-is. Leisure Legacy does not promise uninterrupted availability or permanent hosting. Export and preservation features are part of our roadmap; keep the printed journal as your family's physical record.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product grows. Meaningful changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
