What Leisure Legacy collects
We collect only what the product needs to work: the email address you use to claim your Legacy Page, the content you choose to write, one optional cover photo, and, when someone contributes to your page, their display name, their contribution, and an optional email address.
We do not collect addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, schools, or precise locations, and we do not ask contributors for photographs.
Who owns what
You own your content. Contributors own their words. By submitting a contribution, a contributor gives Leisure Legacy permission to store it and to display it on the page it was written for once the page owner approves it.
Who can see your page
Legacy Pages are private by default in the sense that they live at unguessable links, are excluded from search engines, and never appear in any public directory or feed. A page set to Private is visible only to its signed-in owner.
Contributor email addresses are never public and are never shown to the page owner.
Removal and deletion
Page owners may remove any contribution from their page at any time. Contributors may request removal of their own words by contacting us.
If you delete your page, it becomes unavailable immediately, is retained in a recoverable state for 30 days in case of mistakes, and is then permanently deleted. Deleting your account removes or schedules removal of the data connected to it.
Creating an account or receiving a sign-in link is not marketing consent. We do not add owners, contributors, or feedback senders to marketing lists automatically. Marketing email is separate and only ever by explicit opt-in.
What we don't promise
We work to keep pages available and safe, but Leisure Legacy does not promise permanent or forever hosting. Prohibited, abusive, or unlawful content may be removed, and impersonation is not allowed.
